In the end, every chapter of life is only as important as the lessons and knowledge you take along with you.
Although I said “Goodbye, for now” to a lovely team of colleagues this week, I feel blessed beyond words for the path that is before me.
I had a wonderful week, surrounded by wonderful people and memorable events. Here’s a few of them:
1. Wicked – This weekend, I pulled out my oh-so-comfortable Chinatown sandals, and read Wicked (a Free Little Library find). This book brought me so much joy for the sole reason that I didn’t remember what would happen next. And that was exciting for me because I saw Wicked the Musical in London , England during a difficult time in my life – a time that is thankfully fading from my memory.
2. Nature – Bancroft is one of my favourite places. Not only because I get to spend time with my parents and enjoy stories around the campfire, but also because I get to take in the beauty of nature. The stars were magnificent. The water was cold. The mushrooms were everywhere! This picture shows one mushroom that I saw on Friday shaped like a small golf ball, and then a picture of it on Sunday, where it sprouted up and flattened out. Seriously, how cool is that?!
Something else memorable happened in Bancroft this weekend. …
3. Bridesman – I added another lovely person to my wedding party! I am so thankful. So, so thankful!
4. Medieval Time – With a fun trip to Medieval Times, we had the opportunity to ask another important person to be a part of our special day. We have the best and only Guard of Rings that we could ever ask for.
