Seriously, so many fantastic things happened this week! With summer nearing its end, a season of change is brewing in the wind. It makes me think of Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins: “Winds in the east, mist coming in, / Like somethin’ is brewin’ and bout to begin.”
1. Flower Power – the mornings are getting chillier, but my fingers still scream SUMMER with these cute press-on nails from L’Oréal! (Here’s a great review on them from Bailey at iknowallthewords.com)
2. Moving – The stars aligned perfectly for Sean and I. In just a little while, this tiny home will soon be ours! Now to start packing…
3. CIMA Award – I am so happy to know the gentlemen (Brent Rombough and Jay Bulman from Tripsonix) that received the Canadian Independent Music Association‘s award for Innovation in Canadian Music! They have done some seriously awesome things for the music industry and for the world. And they’re from Peterborough! How cool is that?! I’m going to be writing a separate blog about this, so keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, go pick up their latest album, Betrayal, on iTunes!
